This year's reunion is being held on August 9th at MacRae Park on Des Moines' south side. It is scheduled to be held from 11 am until 8 pm. Each family member was asked to please bring a dish and a drink to be shared. $5 was collected from the adults and $2 for the children, those that are 70 years and older did not have to pay.

T-shirts were offered to everyone for $8 unless they needed XXL or bigger.

Family directories were also created and offered for $10 each.

Directories and T-shirts can still be purchased, just contact Andrea and she will get you "hooked up".

The money that was collected was used to pay for the shelter and all the printing and postage necessary to get this together. The "leftover" money went towards the purchase of dinnerware and condiments so that families did not have to bring theirs from home.
